Giving this a whirl...

With family and friends scattered for miles, I've wanted to keep a blog since the birth of our son (first grandbaby on both sides - translation: spoiled). Like most things, it's taken me a year to get started and will probably sit untouched for months between posts, but hey, at least I've started. That's half the battle, right?

Anyway, here's a quick update for out-of-touch folks: Ryan teaches high school science and coaches cross country. I teach 5th grade and have resigned as volleyball coach to spend more time with Reed, who just celebrated his 1st birthday this week. Time has flown!

We're still crammed into our little farm house. Though a for-sale sign decks the front yard, it's become somewhat of a permanent fixture. So, we're debating whether to reduce the price or settle in for the long haul and do some renovations. Time, and, more importantly, God, will tell. Stay tuned...
